Mildred can host you and your friends and family for an evening (or afternoon!) of FASHION, FITS & FUN! See below for upcoming dates and venues!
Up to TEN GUESTS can each bring up to THREE GARMENTS, about which you can consult with Mildred regarding repairs, alterations and/or re-design ideas! Mildred loves to ‘keep a garment with the living’ and being worn as long as possible, so she is all about some mending or a fun redesign/upcycle project!
Alongside the conversation, camaraderie, charcuterie and COOKIES, participants are invited to hear Mildred speak about her experience as a sewist, and what she envisions for the future of her business and dressing the women with whom she works.

YES!! We will be serving this tasty bevvie, as well as her zero proof (non-alcohol) but still spirited counterpart, the DRESSMAKER’S DAUGHTER!
Mildred will be on-site to meet and greet guests, chat about her mission and her vision, and to HAVE a FIT with those who choose to bring an item or two (up to three items per guest*) for her to fix or mend, or hem or re-design!

The Dressmaker Pops Up!
Meet and greet Mildred at SCOUT & MOLLY’S in The Shoppes at English Village, shop the store while you sip The Dressmaker (Mildred’s own recipe of pomegranate juice, prosecco, rosemary infused simple syrup that is made with local honey, and just a splash of gin or vodka!) or her ZERO PROOF (non-alcoholic) counterpart, The Dressmakers Daughter (sub the prosecco and spirits with sparkling water!), and enjoy conversation and community!
With the kiddos headed back to school, this will be a welcome treat for the Mums out there, as well as for local ladies looking for any reason to get out and about. With restaurants like Iron Hill Brewery, Harvest Seasonal Grill, and Turning Point right there, you can plan lunch with friends around your visit!!
Guests are welcome and even encouraged to bring UP to THREE GARMENTS to assess and discuss with Mildred. Whether it’s a pair of slacks you just purchased - Scout & Molly purchases receive discounted services, or a couple of things that have been in the back of your closet for the past three years - “If only this were… I’d wear it all the time!”, you will be glad you attended.
